Exploratory tools for metagenomic binning
Microbe Statistics from Environmental Nucleotide Sequence Reads. Computes various statistics from collections of nucleotide sequences, in hopes of discovering correlations between sequence statistics, phylogeny, and community composition. Also, generates simulated metagenomic data sets.
Useful for exploring binning methods. Implemented as a set of Jandy plugins.

This project is under active development and lacks sufficient documentation, so it's really not ready for public consumption. I'd be happy to discuss it with anyone who's interested, of course.
